Project : Development of Adjustable Bundle Puller for Refinery Plant.
This is the MTUN Matching Grant Project-Development of Adjustable Bundle Puller for Refinery Plant. The signing ceremony between UTeM and HRSB Holdings Sdn. Bhd. was held on 18th December 2020. It is funded through the allocation of matching grants from the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Network (MTUN). This research product named ‘Extendable Bundle Puller’ serves to remove tubes in the plant cooling system that need to be maintained periodically to optimize the system operation of an oil and gas refining plant. The project will take about 18 months by a team of UTeM researchers from the Advanced Research Center (AMC) together with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology (FTKMP).
